Activism Through Policy (ATP) is a student-led organization at UCLA dedicated to pursuing social activism through innovative policy solutions. ATP educates and empowers our members to research and write policy memos, envision innovative policy solutions, and communicate with decision makers at the local, state, and federal level. ATP is proud of its interdisciplinary membership, welcoming students of any year, major, and experience level to learn collaboratively about public policy. 

 

Every quarter, members work in small groups to address a specific policy issue of their choice. Groups have explored themes such as mass incarceration, healthcare policy, and education reform in the past. In addition to publishing high-quality policy memos, ATP frequently hosts policy panels open to the UCLA community, professional development events, and volunteering socials for members.
